Do I need to do anything in particular to be served ads through Genolith?
Yes! Because Genolith doesn't store your data profile from the app on our servers, we can't "push" curated ads to you - we don't really know you! Instead, mobile app users simply login daily, and the magic happens for you behind-the-scenes. It may seem cumbersome, but that small inconvenience actually adds value for marketers because they know you're real. So just checking on your balance from time to time will ensure it keeps going up.
Is there a limit to how much GENNY I can earn per day?
Technically, no! If you opt to set your data profile to "no limit", you could inherently receive unlimited earnings! The only cap is the market demand for your data.
How is the market price of GENNY determined by Genolith?
Genolith ignores the valuation of GENNY across various market exchanges in favor of platform activity. That means the most recent price that a Genolith mobile app user successfully sold for becomes the new latest market price for GENNY. Marketers can see the what the going rate for GENNY is (and will become) before they make any purchases. This creates a fair, stable, and transparent exchange system for all parties.
Can I buy GENNY directly from Genolith?
No. GENNY is only rewarded when Genolith renders services using a user's data. This is facilitated via smart contract. We intentionally strive to keep a relatively modest liquidity pool for GENNY outside of the Genolith platform to maintain a data-driven valuation over a speculative one. We do understand, however, that users may desire additional liquidity options for their earned GENNY, so we continuously evaluate the landscape and pour more GENNY in the pool(s) when it's market-appropriate! Does Genolith store my GENNY wallet private key?
No. In the spirit of being truly private-by-design, Genolith operates on a self-custodial wallet basis. When you create a new Genolith account, we create a Solana wallet for your GENNY and store the public key. However, your private key is only stored on your device's app storage; so make sure you jot down your recovery code - we can't help you get it back!
